Chesterfield won in dramatic fashion after twice going behind against Wrexham in their battle against relegation in the National League.
Wrexham took a freak lead as Will Evans turned Jay Harris' free kick in past stranded goalkeeper Shwan Jalal.
The Spireites recovered from the own goal as Tom Denton hammered home.
Ponticelli side-footed in to put the visitors back in front only for Liam Mandeville to level and at the death Curtis Weston hit the winner.
Chesterfield stayed in the relegation zone, but ended the game only two points behind Wrexham with the rest of the day's action to follow.
Wrexham boss Dean Keates said:
"There was that little bit of naivety from us at the end. The players gave everything today and the fans got behind them and made a massive difference.
"Our approach can't change. In the last five games we'd been the third-best team in the division on form. In the last 10 games we'd been the fourth-best team in the division. That will change after today's game, but the group are finding their feet.
"When we've had disappointments before they've reacted well and we have to go again next week."
