Swindon Town 1-0 Mansfield Town

Eoin Doyle's 10th goal in seven games earned victory over Mansfield Town and kept Swindon top of the League Two table.

Doyle, the league's top scorer with 17 goals, swept home Kaiyne Woolery's low ball into the box to stretch Swindon's winning run to five league matches..

Swindon dominated proceedings in the first half and saw the returning Paul Caddis hit the post from the edge of the box early on.

But the Stags did their utmost to hit back in the second and John Dempster will be wondering how his side did not leave the County Ground with at least a point.

Nicky Maynard struck the woodwork himself from a tight angle seven minutes after the restart and he shot narrowly wide on the hour mark, with Andy Cook having a header saved in between the two chances.

Richie Wellens' Swindon occasionally pressed for what would have been the killer second goal, but Conrad Logan was not properly tested while Doyle chipped an effort over the bar.
