Bromley missed the chance to go top of the National League after losing at Solihull Moors.
After kick-off was delayed by 15 minutes because of rail problems, the deadlock was broken in the 41st minute when Jamie Reckord teed up Gavin Gunning, whose low drive left goalkeeper Ryan Huddart with little chance.
Tim Flowers' men doubled their lead eight minutes into the second half, Danny Wright netting at the second attempt following good build-up play between Jamie Osborne and Jake Beesley.
Substitute Alfie Doughty pulled one back in stoppage time for Bromley, who remain level on points with leaders Halifax as they also went down to Boreham Wood.
