Halifax ended their campaign on a high with an impressive win at AFC Fylde.
The Shaymen took the lead after 38 minutes when Jordan Preston whipped in a free-kick for defender Matty Brown to bullet a header past Russ Griffiths.
Fylde's Arlen Birch then put through his own goal under pressure from a good low cross by Manny Duku.
The only positive for the hosts was that Danny Rowe secured the National League's golden boot with 27 goals - though he could not add to his tally at Mill Farm today.
James Hardy had a late shot blocked on the line by Brown as it seemed destined not to be the home side's afternoon.
