Ayo Obileye scored a second-half penalty as Maidenhead eased their National League relegation fears with victory away to FC Halifax.
The home side had most of the early pressure with Matty Kosylo setting up two chances before Ricky Gabriel's weak shot failed to trouble the keeper.
Halifax's Devante Rodney headed over from six yards out before Harold Odametey's cross set up Mike Fondop-Talom for the visitors but his acrobatic volley went wide.
Odametey saw a second-half shot deflected wide for a corner before Sam Nombe's long-range effort was kept out as Maidenhead looked for the winner.
That goal came with 18 minutes to go as Fondop-Talom was fouled and Obileye converted the penalty.
Odametey then saw his shot come back off the post as Maidenhead looked for a second before team-mate Josh Kelly shot into the side netting.
