FC Halifax Town 0-0 Aldershot Town

  • Published

Aldershot extend their winless run to 18 matches with a battling goalless draw at Halifax.

The hosts are also on a lengthy run without a win - theirs standing at nine - so it was always likely to end in a draw, but the Shots had perhaps the best of the chances.

There was little to get excited about and Halifax were booed off by their fans after failing to pressurise their struggling opponents.

Jake Gallagher hit wide for the visitors who did not appear primed to take advantage of the Shaymen's lack of confidence on the ball.

After the interval, Aldershot substitute Reece Grant tried to make the difference, but his header was too close to Sam Johnson.
