Chesterfield and Havant & Waterlooville shared the spoils in the National League as the Spireites' winless run was extended to 17 league matches.
The game at the Proact Stadium was goalless at half-time after Havant's Alfie Pavey squandered a one-on-one just before the break.
The visitors threatened through Alex Bradley's deflected shot early in the second half before Chesterfield took the upper hand.
Substitutes Levi Amantchi and Tom Denton threatened repeatedly but the Spireites failed to break through, with Ben Dudzinski making a late double save to preserve a seventh point out of the last nine for the visitors.
