FC Halifax Town 1-0 Dover Athletic

Matty Kosylo's goal against bottom club Dover Athletic earned FC Halifax Town their first National League victory since August.

The Shaymen had taken seven points from 12 games since last winning against Gateshead, while their visitors have just two league wins all season and none away from home.

Kosylo put Halifax in front six minutes before half-time and they almost had a second when Dayle Southwell was denied by the crossbar.

Kosylo and Southwell continued to threaten in the second half, though Halifax needed some good saves by Sam Johnson and a goal-line clearance from Nathan Clarke to preserve their lead and secure all three points.
