Danny Cowley led Lincoln to promotion back to the Football League last season

Lincoln City secured their place in the League Two play-offs by drawing with Yeovil at Sincil Bank.

Lincoln began knowing a draw would be enough to guarantee a top-seven finish in their first season back in the English Football League, but Danny Cowley's side fell behind early on.

Jordan Green gave the Glovers the lead when he squeezed a shot from inside the box past Lincoln keeper Ryan Allsop.

Lincoln's Matt Green then had a penalty saved by Artur Kysiak, after Bevis Mugabi handled in the area, before striking the crossbar from the rebound.

Matt Rhead headed against the bar after the break before Tom Pett levelled for the Imps with a curling 20-yard strike.

Yeovil end the season in 19th place, two points clear of the relegation zone, while Lincoln - who won last season's National League title - will play Exeter City in the play-off semi-finals.
