Scunthorpe and Bradford ended their contrasting League One campaigns with a draw at Glanford Park.
The hosts secured a top-six finish during the week while the Bantams were aiming to finish as high as possible after their own play-off hopes disappeared during a difficult opening to 2018.
Both goals came in the second half with Iron full-back Conor Townsend equalising just four minutes after Matt Kilgallon had headed the visitors ahead.
Josh Morris rattled the crossbar with a free-kick after 15 minutes for the hosts before Bradford broke the deadlock nine minutes after the restart when Kilgallon rose highest in the area to head home Tony McMahon's corner.
Scunthorpe hit back as Townsend showed great composure in the box to check inside his marker and lift a shot over goalkeeper Colin Doyle.
Jordan Gibson flashed an effort across the face of goal before Charlie Wyke was desperately unlucky to see a spectacular strike bounce off the underside of the bar but Scunthorpe held on to extend their unbeaten run to six games.
