We’re parking the live for the moment but we hope to see you right back here when the action resumes.

The England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) and the eight Hundred teams issued a statement recently asserting no-one will "be excluded on the grounds of their nationality" after BBC Sport reported the four franchises with owners linked to the Indian Premier League (IPL) would not consider players from Pakistan.

There are 14 representatives from Pakistan in the men's auction and it is the third-most from an overseas country, behind 19 from South Africa and 18 from Australia.

In today's women's auction, there are two Pakistan players Sadia Iqbal and Fatima Sana - cut from four initial nominations - who are both in the long list of players who will be auctioned when we return after the lunch break.

The 2026 edition of The Hundred will begin on 21 July and run until 16 August.

Mi London and Sunrisers Leeds will face each other in a men's and women's double-header at the Oval in the tournament opener.

At £18,000, Hannah Baker could prove to be a great value pick for Sunrisers Leeds, particularly on turning pitches. No English spinner spun the ball more than Baker in last year’s Hundred, with the leg-spinner averaging 3.3° of turn on average.

Not many takers for these set of spinners but Warwickshire's Hannah Baker goes to Sunrisers Leeds for £18,000 while former Northern Superchargers off-spinner Lucy Higham is signed by London Spirit for £15,000.

    • Hannah Baker - £18,000 to Sunrisers Leeds

Nicola Carey becomes MI London's fourth overseas all-rounder alongside Matthews, Kerr and Henry. Carey has proven to be a genuine all-rounder in the Women's Hundred with high match involvement, on average impacting a total of 30 deliveries per game combined with bat and ball.

Big money for Em Arlott off the back of her best-ever Hundred campaign in 2025, taking 12 wickets at an average of just 13, while conceding at 1.30 runs per ball. Her ability to bowl in all phases will be crucial to Welsh Fire's strategy moving forward, with Arlott becoming their first pace bowling purchase.

Welsh Fire snap up England's Em Arlott for £110,000 and it is move that will bolster their pace attack.

Arlott brings with her plenty of proven Hundred and international experience, previously playing for Birmingham Phoenix and Sydney Thunder among others.

England's Em Arlott and India's Sree Charani are among those up for grabs among Tier 2 all-rounders.

Manchester Super Giants purchase Paige Scholfield, one of the Hundred's fastest scorers against pace. No batter has scored more runs against pace at a higher strike-rate than her 152 in the history of the Women's Hundred.

England and Surrey all-rounder Paige Scholfield is a Manchester Super Giants player after they secure the 30-year-old's signature for £115,000.

The Manchester side also capture Grace Scrivens for £40,000.

While MI London could go overseas when selecting a captain, Hollie Armitage brings plenty of experience, local knowledge and Hundred pedigree as a leader - she's won 20 of the 32 Hundred matches in which she's captained for her previous side Northern Superchargers.

  19. Postpublished at 12:20 GMT

England's Hollie Armitage goes to MI London for £45,000 to get things going for the Tier 2 batters.

But there is seldom any interest for former Manchester Originals star Eve Jones and South Africa's Sune Luss who both go unsold.

We are now moving to the Tier 2 players but there's still plenty of talent in that list.

We’ll kick off this stage with the batters as the auction cycle restarts again.

    • Eve Jones
