Glamorgan are in discussions to extend the stay of Australian bowler Ryan Hadley for the next two Championship games.
The 6ft 5in 27-year-old paceman was originally only signed for the opening six games of their County Championship Division One campaign.
But Hadley has impressed taking 21 wickets and Glamorgan are optimistic about having him available for the fixtures away to Sussex on 12 June and home to Surrey on 19 June.
"He (Hadley) might not be going home, we're in discussions for those middle two games," said Glamorgan head coach Richard Dawson.
"He's a good bloke, fits in really well in the changing room, good sense of humour and he certainly tries - he puts in on the pitch. He's bowled some really good spells which has influenced games as well.
"He's a good point of difference in our bowling attack. He's obviously tall, hits the deck, he's got a yard about him as well. So it's nice to have that change of attack, so he complements our bowling attack really nicely."

Hadley caught Glamorgan's eye playing for New South Wales in this season's Sheffield Shield, Australia's domestic first-class competition.
He has also starred with the bat as well as the ball for Glamorgan. His unbeaten 50 as nightwatchman in the two-wicket win against Somerset was a key innings as the Welsh county claimed a historic first ever home triumph in Division One.
Asked if there was scope for Hadley to remain even longer than the next two Championship games, Dawson added: "Obviously he needs to be back in Australia at some point so I don't know about that yet."
Rain spoiled Glamorgan's game at Warwickshire which ended in a draw, with Hadley claiming a wicket in each of the hosts' innings at Edgbaston.
Glamorgan have made a good start to their first campaign back in the top tier for 20 years, sitting third in Division One after six games with two wins and three draws so far.
