Glamorgan have signed Australian fast bowler Ryan Hadley for the opening six games of the County Championship.
The 6ft 5in 27-year-old has been playing for New South Wales in this season's Sheffield Shield, Australia's domestic first-class competition.
Hadley's arrival is timely for Glamorgan, whose pace bowling options were reduced when James Harris retired earlier this week.
The Welsh county were already looking to add to their seam attack, and could yet make another signing in that department.
Glamorgan begin their County Championship Division One season at home against Yorkshire on Friday, 3 April.
The Welsh club will be playing in the top tier for the first time in 20 years having won promotion last season.

Glamorgan's Director of Cricket, Mark Wallace, said: "Ryan is an exciting addition to the squad and a player we've been tracking for some time.
"His experience with Australia A and the Prime Minister's XI shows the level of cricket he's been exposed to, and we believe he has the attributes to be very successful in Welsh conditions.
"He adds real pace and aggression to our attack and will complement our existing group well."
