Canadian Grand Prix: Second practice highlights

Ferrari's Fernando Alonso pips Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton in a tight second practice session ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix.

The cool temperatures in Montreal led to a lot of drivers locking brakes and running wide at the chicanes and hairpin, with Red Bull's Mark Webber spinning at Turn Six before recovering to set the fourth-fastest time.

After being fastest in mixed conditions during first practice, Force India's Paul Di Resta was 13th in free practice two following a fuel pick-up problem.
