New England Patriots crushed New York Giants 33-15 to extend their winning streak to 10 matches and remain top of the AFC East.

The Patriots scored 17 unanswered points in the first quarter and led 30-7 at half-time en route to a comprehensive win.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye threw 282 yards and two touchdowns while kicker Andy Borregales converted four field goals.

On his return from a concussion, Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart threw 139 yards and one touchdown as his side slumped to a seventh consecutive defeat.

Rams suffer huge upset loss in Carolina

Many had the Rams as the best team in the NFL and Matthew Stafford as MVP before this game, but Stafford doubled his interception total for the season as they lost a ding-dong shootout 31-28.

After two interceptions in 11 games Stafford threw two in the first half, including a pick six, and added a fumble later on to end a six-game winning run and drop to 9-3 and out of the NFC top seed - being replaced by Chicago.

Credit the Panthers though, especially the excellent Bryce Young who threw three TDs and Chuba Hubbard who had 124 total yards to propel the Panthers to 7-6 and challenging Tampa Bay for the NFC South.

Bills beat up on Rodgers & Steelers

Aaron Rodgers played through the pain of a fractured wrist, but also took a whack on the nose as he and his team were dominated by the Buffalo Bills, who ran for a record 249 yards for a visiting team in Pittsburgh's stadium.

Josh Allen scored a record 76th rushing touchdown and James Cook ran for 144 of those rushing yards as Buffalo's ground and pound mantra worked wonders against a Pittsburgh side powerless to stop them.

The Bills remain well in the play-off hunt at 8-4 as they chase the Patriots, while the Steelers drop to 6-6 and face a huge battle with Baltimore next week.

Broncos win ninth in a row after overtime thriller in Washington

The Denver Broncos extended their winning streak to nine matches to beat Washington Commanders 27-26 in overtime to stay top of the AFC West, Bo Nix leading the way with one TD and 321 passing yards.

The Broncos led 13-7 in the second quarter and 20-14 heading into the fourth but were routinely pegged back. RJ Harvey scored a touchdown for Denver in overtime before Washington responded with a Marcus Mariota TD pass to Terry McLaurin.

But Nik Bonitto batted away two-point conversion attempt that would have won it for the Commanders to give the Broncos victory.

In the absence of injured quarterback Jayden Daniels, Mariota scored two TDs and threw 294 passing yards but couldn't stop the Commanders from slipping to a seventh consecutive defeat.

Texans turn up heat to beat Colts

A fourth straight win for the Texans here and a huge one as beating the Colts blew the AFC South wide open, with Indy losing two in a row.

It was tight, as you'd expect with Houston's top-ranked defence, but after being tied 13-13 going into the fourth quarter, Nico Collins' touchdown proved to be the difference.

Jags top AFC South after third win in a row

That result in Indy meant the Jags moved to the top of the AFC South with an easy 25-3 win at the hapless Titans - a third win in a row moving them to 8-4

Trevor Lawrence has 229 yards passing and two touchdowns and the Jags ran in another to cruise to victory - and set up a huge game next week against the Colts.

  3. Bucs back in business, Seahawks shutout Vikings - best of the restpublished at 00:55 GMT 1 December 2025

49ers ruin Sanders' first home start

Shedeur Sanders threw a touchdown pass in his first home start, but it was nowhere near enough as scores from Christian McCaffrey, Brock Purdy and Juan Jennings saw the 49ers pull away to a 26-8 victory.

With the Rams losing to the Panthers, the Niners join them on nine wins in an incredibly tight NFC West - and that coming with them having plenty of injuries to deal with too.

Seahawks shutout Vikings as back-up QB implodes

The Vikings went pointless in Seattle - their first shutout in 18 years - on the back of four interceptions thrown by rookie back-up QB Max Brosmer, who finished with a passer rating of 32.8.

The Seahawks didn't do too much themselves to win 26-0 with just one offensive touchdown, but it was enough to go 9-3 and join the Rams and 49ers in the fight for the NFC West.

It's hard not to feel sorry for Brosmer though after a first start to forget, as Minnesota dropped to 4-8.

Bucs back in business with welcome win

Despite the Panthers winning, the Bucs kept their noses in front in the NFC South by grinding out a 20-17 victory over Arizona to end a run of three straight defeats.

Jacoby Brissett had a 300-yard game but Baker Mayfield got the win any way he could, including throwing a TD pass to offensive lineman Tristen Wirfs! The Bucs and Panthers still have to play each other twice, and those games will settle the division.

Jets bag third win of the season

Bijan Robinson had 193 yards and a touchdown in a monster game for Atlanta, but they still lost to the Jets - who bagged just their third win of the season and just a second turnover, and their first in the USA as their other came in London.

Josh Allen broke a tie with Cam Newton for rushing TDs by a quarterback with his 76th tonight, which also summed up Buffalo's new identity this season as a hard-running football team.

And it's that type of football the Bills believe can help them win play-off games and get to the Super Bowl.

"I'm so proud of our O-line, guys stepping up creating some holes for our running backs," Allen told CBS on the field after the game.

"We just need to find a way to start winning these football games in these cold winter type of nights, against an AFC North opponent - and we found a way."

The Bills remain in the AFC playoff picture after coming from behind to beat the Steelers.

Pittsburgh led 7-3 at half time, despite being outgained by Buffalo, but a fumble on the opening play of the second half which Bills cornerback Christian Benford scored from flipped the momentum in this one.

James Cook dominated, with 144 yards on the ground, while Keon Coleman added their second on a Josh Allen throw on fourth and goal.

Buffalo are two wins behind the AFC East-leading New England Patriots, with Pittsburgh losing top spot in the AFC North and slipping out of the playoff places altogether.

The Steelers fans chanted 'Fire Tomlin' during the game, aimed at their long-standing head coach Mike Tomlin, who has been in charge since 2007 and won the Super Bowl with the team in 2009.

They go to Baltimore next week, with both teams having 6-6 records and first place in the AFC North on the line.

Quarterback Aaron Rodgers played with a fractured wrist and suffered a nasty cut to the nose, but returned to the game.

The Chargers dominated their AFC West rivals throughout in a game where both quarterbacks, Justin Herbert and Geno Smith threw for two touchdowns, one interception and under 200 yards each.

Herbert's side move to 8-4 in a result that takes them level with the likes of the Jaguars, Colts and Bills in the AFC table.

Meanwhile, the Raiders have lost their sixth in a row.

The Minnesota Vikings were shut out for the first time in 18 years by the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday night.

The Vikings, led by rookie quarterback Max Brosmer, were dismal on offence and had just one redzone trip all day.

Seattle themselves weren't sparkling. They only scored one offensive touchdown on the day with the majority of their scores being down to the struggles of Brosmer.

The rookie, who was starting his first game in the NFL, threw four interceptions, including one pick-six and was sacked four times by a relentless Seahawks defence.

It was a debut to forget for Brosmer, who finished with a passer rating of 32.8.

Minnesota drop to 4-8 on the year while Seattle move to 9-3, level atop the NFC West alongside the Los Angeles Rams.

The Chargers will be counting their lucky stars for that one. It's not the first time the Raiders have unnecessarily gifted up yards today.
