Chiefs' Kelce 'figuring out' retirement plans

In November, Travis Kelce set the Kansas City Chief's touchdown record with his 84th career score

Travis Kelce says he is still unsure whether or not he will retire from the NFL when his contract with the Kansas City Chiefs expires at the end of the season.
The 36-year-old tight end has spent 13 years with the Chiefs and has won three Super Bowls in the past six years.
Kelce had considered retiring last year after the Chiefs were denied a third straight Super Bowl win by the Philadelphia Eagles. But he decided to continue playing for another season, saying he still felt he could perform at the highest level.
However, after the Chiefs failed to make the play-offs for the first time in 11 years, Kelce says he will take time to "figure things out" with his team-mates and family.

"Either it hits me quick or I've got to take some time," said Kelce when asked about his future.
"Last year was a little bit easier. I think I knew right away I wanted to kind of give this one [year] a shot. We'll see."
On Sunday, Kelce, who is expected to marry his fiancee Taylor Swift this summer, became just the third tight end to reach 13,000 receiving yards during the Chiefs' 14-12 defeat by the Las Vegas Raiders.
Despite the Chiefs' disappointing 2025 season - they were eliminated from play-off contention with three games of the regular season remaining - Kelce said he has "so much love for this team, this organisation and the people here".
He added: "I'm proud of the way we finished this, even though it ended the way it did. The guys still showed up and gave it their all. That's all you can ask for, man.
"The ball just didn't go our way in a lot of those close games, unfortunately.
"If I do choose to come back, that's something I've really got to focus on, making sure I'm available and I'm ready for those [late-game] moments."
