What's your fun on a shoestring idea?
Sprucing up old T-shirts

Tell us about it:
You get an old T shirt and stitch on odd buttons creating a design, it is fun creating it and obviously it will be original. You could use shoe laces (shoe string) [Very good, Lynne! - Ed.] and stitch them on in all different colours.

What do you enjoy the most?
Collecting all of the different odd buttons to go onto the t shirts and differnet things, getting the t shirts from charity shops or car boot sales to make it more cost effective.

Who would enjoy it?
All ages can enjoy it in there own way and have something to wear at the end of it, fashionable and different.

How much does it cost?
under £5 - sometimes nothing!

Is it good value for money?
Very good value, some things are recyclable like buttons off old clothes.

Is there any special equipment you need to do this?
You just need a needle and thread and lots of ideas.

Where and when can you do it?
Anytime and anyplace as long as it is light or has lighting.
