Making people laugh

BBC OS Conversations

Available for over a year

Throughout our conversations we discuss what and who you are missing. Is it possible to laugh during a global pandemic? We speak to comedian Sarah Cooper in New York - her President Trump lip-syncs have gone viral on TikTok – also: Waylene Beukes in Namibia and Anna Piper Scott in Melbourne, who was about to start a full-time comedy career as the pandemic hit. We also hear about the impact of lockdown restrictions for those living alone. Three people: in Manitoba, Canada; Perth, Australia; and New Orleans in the United States come together and tell us how they are miss human touch. And as restrictions are lifted in some places, school students going back to their classes reflect on what they have missed. We find out from pupils in Germany and Iceland feel and the new normal in their classrooms. Picture: Comedian Sarah Cooper Credit: Mindy Tucker
