The Arts Hour on Tour comes from Copenhagen, Denmark where Nikki Bedi is joined on stage by star guests and the best performers in the city. Nikki’s guests are award winning film director Lone Scherfig, superstar crime writer and chronicler of Copenhagen Jussi Adler-Olsen and actress Birgitte Hjort Sørensen, who is best known for her roles in Danish drama Borgen and international hit Game of Thrones. Nikki finds out whether Denmark, which is known for its democratic society and often tops the list of the world’s happiest countries, provides a fertile ground for artists and asks whether there are limits to Copenhagen’s openness. With live music from pioneering composer duo Den Sorte Skole, acclaimed singer songwriter Marie Key and comedy performance from star of the Copenhagen stand-up circuit Omar Marzouk.
