Weekend

Available for 28 days

A second Israeli soldier has been killed in southern Lebanon, a day after a truce with Hezbollah took effect. It follows the death of a French UN peacekeeper in an attack Israel blames on Iran-backed Hezbollah, who denies responsibility. We are joined by a former Lebanon foreign minister. Also in today's programme: America's top banks have posted nearly fifty billion dollars in quarterly profits as the Iran war shakes global markets; and, heritage sites in Iran, Israel and Lebanon have become the latest casualties of the war. Presenter Gary O Donoghue is joined by Anton Spisak, a political economist and senior fellow at the Centre for European Reform and Dalal Mawad is an award-winning Lebanese journalist and author of All She Lost.
