Middle East ceasefire under strain

Newsday

Available for 29 days

The Middle East ceasefire is under strain, with Iran threatening to withdraw from the agreement as Israel continues it's offensive against the Iranian backed group Hezbollah in Lebanon. We hear from Lebanon where 250 people have reportedly died in the last twenty four hours. The American vice President JD Vance, who is due to lead American talks with Iran, says there has been a "misunderstanding" over whether Lebanon was included in the truce. Meanwhile President Trump has posted on his social media to say if the agreement isn't fully complied with then the “Shootin’ Starts,” bigger, and better than anyone has ever seen before.
