China flooding: people up to their necks on the subway

Newsday

Available for over a year

Our top story today: the deadly flooding in China's Henan province. Astonishing footage has emerged of trapped passengers on inundated subway trains, bodies and cars floating down roads, and people up to their necks in muddy water. And the heavy rains are set to continue for another few days. We'll get a live update. Several Western European countries are dealing with the aftermath of floods too. Our correspondent has been to meet some of the victims in Germany as they start to rebuild. We'll go live to Kabul as the Taliban continue to make advances in Afghanistan. And presidents, prime ministers and at least one king were on a list of potential hacking targets. We'll look at the spy software, Pegasus.
