Israel launches air strikes in Gaza

Israel has launched air strikes against Hamas targets in the Gaza Strip overnight, in retaliation for incendiary balloons being launched from the territory. We go live to Gaza. Ahead of their first face-to-face meeting since Joe Biden became US president, Mr Biden called Vladimir Putin a "worthy adversary", and Mr Putin has said US-Russian relations are at their "lowest point in recent years".
