UK and EU agree to extend Brexit trade talks

The two sides had previously agreed Sunday as the deadline, but no deal has been reached. The UK prime minister Boris Johnson and European Commission president Ursula von der Leyen agreed to extend the deadline following a phone call on Sunday.
