Newsday

Available for over a year

Following weeks of protests in Belarus after disputed election results the man at the centre of it all - President Alexander Lukashenko - has made it clear he's set to stay ahead of talks about to take place in Sochi with President Putin. Tens of thousands of people have now fled their homes and 33 people have died so far as a result of the fires that have been raging for three weeks in Oregon, California and Washington. And Japan has a new Prime Minister after the governing Liberal Democratic party met to decide a new leader following the Prime Minister's decision to step down.
