Maria Ressa found guilty of cyber libel in the Philippines

A court in the Philippines has convicted the prominent journalist Maria Ressa of libel. Europe is beginning to open up following three months of lockdown across most of the continent. The US ambassador to Russia has told the BBC that an American man accused of spying is the subject of a ‘gross injustice’.
