More European countries ease Covid measures

Newsday

Available for over a year

We look at what governments are doing round the world to re-start life. France has brought in a colour-coded map to help exit from its restrictions. The UK on Sunday announced plans to begin slowly easing restrictions which have suppressed most economic activity across England. We hear from Thailand which has been very successful in keeping its cases down and is now nervous of a second wave as restrictions are lifted ever so slightly and we hear more evidence of the misery of life in Idlib in Syria.
