Mosques are re-opening today for Friday prayers in Iran, Syria and Lebanon. Those attending will be asked to maintain distance and wear masks. They have been closed for fear spreading Covid-19, but Iran now says the outbreak is "relatively stable". From today Hong Kong is easing some social distancing measures as coronavirus cases in the territory have remained low. Now the current four-person limit on gatherings in restaurants and public places will be expanded to no more than eight people. Many African countries have experienced a relatively slow growth in coronavirus cases , but in the past few days Sudan has seen a spike in confirmed cases to 930 patietns and at least 52 deaths.
