Swiss children under 10 can hug their grandparents again

Newsday

Available for over a year

In Switzerland, authorities say it is now safe for children under the age of 10 to hug their grandparents again. The country’s infectious diseases chief said scientists had concluded that young children under the age of 10 do not pose a risk of spreading coronavirus. The coronavirus outbreak has sparked increasing tensions between Australia and China. Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison has indicated he would support an independent inquiry into how the outbreak began, to which Beijing has responded angrily. The coronavirus has caused travel disruption across the world. For one group of 24 Dutch teenagers, it took five weeks to get home from St Lucia, by sailing a two-mast topsail schooner from the Caribbean island.
