Spain partially lifts lockdown

Newsday

Available for over a year

Spain is second only to the US for coronavirus infections but more people will now be allowed to go out to work. The French government launches a recruitment drive for farm workers because it fears a lack of seasonal workers from abroad could mean crops left to rot. And the African workers thrown out of their lodgings and forced to live on the streets in China. We hear about a spike in reported cases of racism towards Africans because of unfounded fears that they are spreading coronavirus.
