China coronavirus: fear grips Wuhan as lockdown begins

A sense of anxiety is growing in Wuhan as the Chinese city goes into lockdown in an effort to control the spread of a new virus which has left 17 dead. An air tanker has crashed in a fireball while fighting bushfires in Australia, killing the three people on board. World leaders are attending a commemoration in Israel marking 75 years since the concentration camps of Auschwitz and Birkenau were liberated.
