Newsday

Available for over a year

The US military has acknowledged that at least eleven American soldiers were injured in an Iranian attack on an Iraqi base nine days ago. Previously it had denied there were any casualties. Health leaders from seven African countries are meeting on Friday to sign an agreement criminalising trafficking in fake drugs. Tens of thousands of people in Africa die each year because of fake and counterfeit medication. In the US territory of Puerto Rico, there's a growing dispute over how funds for relief are paid out. The Trump administration says an $8 billion dollar disaster fund can only be released under the condition that contractors working on relief efforts are paid less than $15 per hour.
