Khazakhstan: Airplane crash in Almaty

Khazakhstan officials say an aircraft with a hundred people on board has crashed shortly after take off from the Almaty airport. Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has claimed victory over his rival, Gideon Saar, in an internal election for the leadership of the governing Likud party. Astronomers are warning that thousands of communications satellites due to be blasted into space next year could impede their research.
