Valparaíso fires: raging forest fires engulf Chilean city

At least 120 houses have been destroyed by fast moving forest fires in the Chilean city of Valparaíso, prompting a mass evacuation. At least 10 people have died after a powerful typhoon hit the central Philippines on Christmas Day, with the death toll likely to rise. The highly contagious disease, Swine flu, is currently rife in Yemen, particularly in regions controlled by the Houthi rebels.
