Ivory Coast issues arrest warrant for ex-rebel chief

Authorities in Ivory Coast have issued an arrest warrant for the former prime minister and ex-rebel leader, Guillaume Soro. At least 120 houses have been destroyed by fast moving forest fires in the Chilean city of Valparaíso, prompting a mass evacuation. Reports from Zimbabwe say that cash shortages have been persisting with many people saying they are unable to withdraw money from banks for the festive season.
