Valparaíso wildfire: Dozens of houses destroyed in Chile

Newsday

Available for over a year

At least 120 houses have been destroyed by fast moving forest fires in the Chilean city of Valparaíso, prompting a mass evacuation. Fifteen years ago today a powerful earthquake hit off the coast of Indonesia's Aceh province, triggering a tsunami which killed more than 230,000 people across the region. The highly contagious disease, Swine flu, is currently rife in Yemen, particularly in regions controlled by the Houthi rebels.
