Indian government seeks to change citizenship laws

There have been protests in India as the lower house of parliament passed a controversial bill to give citizenship to non-Muslim illegal migrants who earlier fled religious persecution in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. Myanmar's leader Aung San Suu Kyi defends her government against genocide charges in an international court. The Ethiopian Prime Minister is due to get his Nobel Peace Prize in Oslo today but he doesn’t want to engage with the international press.
