Sudan dismantles former ruling party

Transitional authorities in Sudan have dissolved the country’s former ruling party and repealed the largely hated public order law used in particular to regulate the lives of women. President Trump has made an unannounced trip to Afghanistan, saying he has re-opened talks with the Taliban and believes they are open to ceasefire. The UN says that Zimbabwe is on the brink of man-made starvation.
