Protesters in the Democratic Republic of Congo have stormed a United Nations peacekeepers' camp and burned the town hall in the eastern town of Beni. Reports suggest Russian mercenaries in Mozambique have been forced to retreat by Jihadist insurgents operating in the North of the country. The French government has announced a raft of new measures designed to address the number of women being killed by partners.
