Newsday

Available for over a year

The Prime Minister of Mauritius has described Britain as an illegal colonial occupier after it ignored a United Nations deadline to relinquish control of a small archipelago in the Indian Ocean by today. Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, has said he will continue to lead the country in spite of his indictment on corruption charges. He responded angrily to the indictment in a televised speech. The UK government has announced that a number of children, whose British parents were inside the former Islamic State territory and who died in Syria, are being returned to the UK.
