Protesters besieged in Hong Kong University

In Hong Kong, the siege around the Polytechnic University campus continues, even though pro democracy campaigners who first barricaded themselves into the campus have been trying to leave the building. The Palestinians have condemned a decision by the United States to end its decades old policy on Israeli settlements in the West Bank, by declaring that it no longer regards them as illegal. And we go to Mozambique, where there’s growing concern over the safety of election monitors arrested last month.
