Newsday

Available for over a year

Police have made several arrests as protesters attempted to flee the Polytechnic University in Hong Kong. About five hundred pro-democracy activists had been trapped inside the building following a tense stand-off with the security forces. Several people are killed in a mass shooting incident in the US city of Fresno in California. And we go to Kenya where a mother had to fight off an eagle attacking her children.
