Row over Trump tax returns continues

President Trump has asked the United States Supreme Court to overturn a ruling that his accountants hand over his tax returns to a New York court. It's investigating payments made before the 2016 presidential election to two women who say they had affairs with Mr Trump. Pro-democracy demonstrators in Hong Kong have barricaded themselves in at university campuses over the past few days, waiting for possible police raids. All schools have been ordered to close for the rest of the week. In Ethiopia, a number of people have been detained on suspicion of inciting ethnic violence in universities, in which at least three people were killed. Four people have been killed and hundreds of homes destroyed in bushfires which are sweeping across parts of Australia.
