US notifies UN of intention to withdraw from Paris climate accords

The United States has formally notified the United Nations of its intention to withdraw from the Paris Agreement. Scientists say they have identified a rare gene mutation in a Colombian woman, that could be helping protect her from the onset of Alzheimer's disease.
