Delhi smog: new traffic scheme to improve air quality begins

A traffic restriction scheme has come into effect this morning in the India capital, Delhi. The leaders of Japan and South Korea have met for the first time in over a year in an attempt to ease tensions between the two countries. The last leader of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, has warned of the danger posed by nuclear weapons amid tensions between Russia and the West.
