US and Turkey agree to halt offensive in northern Syria

Turkey has agreed to a ceasefire in northern Syria to let Kurdish-led forces withdraw. A general strike has been called in Catalonia, after a week of protests following the ruling of Spain’s Supreme Court on Monday. Nine protesters have been killed this week in Guinea during violent protests against a constitutional change.
