Indigenous protestors claim victory in Ecuador

The government of Ecuador has repealed a law that scrapped fuel subsidies, after twelve days of mass indigenous protests that paralysed the country. The Kurds in northern Syria say President Assad's government has agreed to send the army to stop the Turkish invasion of their territory.
