Newsday

Available for over a year

The on-going national conference in Cameroon is aimed at ending the three year separatist rebellion in the english-speaking parts of the country. More than half a million people have been displaced by the conflict which has forced most schools in north-west and south-west Cameroon to close. Sex workers in South Africa have expressed their outrage at a university art exhibition which showcases the work of an internationally-renowned artist who has also been convicted of beating a sex worker to death. The government is expected to set out its proposals for a Brexit deal in Parliament later, while EU leaders also consider their response.
