Massive military parade marches through Beijing

Beijing's Tiananmen Square has been the venue for a mass parade of troops and civilians to mark the seventieth anniversary of the modern Communist Chinese state; we'll be talking about the World Athletics Championships in Doha where the stands are barely a third full; and an international team of experts has concluded that people can continue to eat red meat, sausages and bacon -- as there's very little evidence it increases the risk of cancer.
