Hundreds of men and young boys have been discovered locked up and chained in a house in in the northern state of Kaduna. Senior Democrats in the US have welcomed the release of a whistle blower letter alleging that White House officials attempted to conceal the details of a phone conversation between Donald Trump and Ukraine's president. The British prime minister Boris Johnson has said that "tempers need to come down" in parliament, after he was accused of using inflammatory language.
